This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +2 more states.
• Establishes and maintains ongoing professional relationships with key decision-makers in organized health systems to guarantee access to medical and scientific information regarding the entire oncology product portfolio and therapeutic areas of interest.
• Collaborates with the Integrated Account Management (IAM) Account Executive teams to develop strategic account plans and implements medical activities in accordance with the agreed-upon strategy.
• Acts as the primary resource for understanding market dynamics within the territory, assessing the evolving information needs of decision-makers to inform the continuous development of value propositions for oncology products and non-product offerings.
• Communicates and coordinates effectively with the Regional Medical Scientific Director concerning the medical and scientific support requirements of key health system accounts.
• Provides support to the HSO MAD Team Lead, HSO Executive Director Medical Affairs, and other members of Country Medical Affairs in relevant strategic planning initiatives.
• Participates in and supports scientific and medical meetings, while preparing necessary deliverables post-meeting.
• A minimum of MD, PhD, or PharmD is required.
• At least 3 years of dedicated experience in a field-based Medical Affairs role with regional and/or national payers, integrated delivery systems, or scientific leaders, OR 5 years of clinical oncology experience within a health system, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience with organized healthcare systems or payer organizations, including the ability to cultivate peer-to-peer relationships with key decision-makers.
• Comprehensive knowledge of clinical medicine, healthcare delivery system structure and function, pharmacoeconomics, disease management, quality management, value-based payment, and healthcare delivery policies and trends.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, networking ability, strong personal integrity, collaborative mindset, and a strong customer focus.
• In-depth understanding of ethical guidelines pertinent to the pharmaceutical industry.
• Capability to organize, prioritize, and operate effectively in a rapidly changing environment.
