This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.
• Serve as the senior leader for Health Systems in Czechia, representing Philips to key customers, government bodies, strategic partners, and senior internal stakeholders.
• Take ownership of the Health Systems agenda for the country, ensuring alignment of global business priorities with regional strategy and local market execution.
• Drive the performance and governance of Health Systems at the country level in Czechia, focusing on revenue, order intake, profitability, resource allocation, risk management, License to Operate, and contributions to P&L delivery.
• Provide leadership akin to a CEO for the Health Systems business in Czechia, facilitating enterprise-level decision-making across commercial performance, customer strategy, operational execution, talent management, governance, and risk management.
• Lead sales and commercial partnerships in Czechia, promoting revenue growth, market expansion, and fostering long-term customer relationships with a diverse product portfolio.
• Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of Czechia's business strategies and the organization's objectives.
• Develop and implement country-specific sales and distribution strategies, including sales forecasts, Annual Operating Plans, and growth initiatives to meet business goals and achieve sustainable market growth.
• Monitor market dynamics, competitor actions, and customer trends to adjust commercial strategies, enhance competitive positioning, and leverage emerging opportunities.
• Establish and nurture executive-level relationships with customers, government stakeholders, healthcare leaders, and strategic partners.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration among Sales, Services, Solutions, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Quality & Regulatory, Supply Chain, HR, and other support functions for seamless execution of the country business plan.
• Own and manage License to Operate priorities for Philips Health Systems in Czechia, ensuring compliance with regulatory, legal, quality, tax, labor, localization, and commercial requirements.
• Act as the senior escalation point for License to Operate issues, collaborating with relevant functions to identify, mitigate, and resolve risks that could affect business continuity or Philips’ reputation.
• Lead and develop high-performing sales teams through effective talent management, succession planning, coaching, and performance enhancement.
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer orientation, ensuring alignment with Philips’ values and long-term strategic goals.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN methodologies and process optimization across Market-to-Order activities.
• Minimum of 11 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or a minimum of 9 years with a Master’s degree, in Sales Strategy, Business Development, or a related field.
• Strong commercial and sales acumen, including skills in sales forecasting, market analysis, KPI management, and data-driven decision-making.
• Proven industry expertise with experience in Healthcare Systems and extensive knowledge of the Czechia market and regional business landscape.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the capability to build, develop, and manage high-performing teams in complex matrix organizations.
• Experience in engaging and influencing executive-level stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare leaders, and strategic partners.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, fostering strong relationships and driving alignment among senior leadership teams and regional stakeholders.
• Experience leading and managing multi-channel commercial models within intricate market settings.
• Background in strategic account management and solutions leadership, with strong customer engagement skills and the ability to establish trusted customer relationships.
• Proven capability to lead complex, cross-functional organizations, aligning commercial, operational, regulatory, and personnel priorities to meet business objectives.
• Understanding of regulatory, compliance, quality, localization, and governance standards in highly regulated healthcare environments.
• Experience in leading organizational and operational transformation initiatives, including localization strategies and the establishment of scalable structures within regional markets.
• Documented success in driving revenue growth and operational excellence through budget management, resource optimization, process improvement, and performance management.
• Strong foundation in project and operational management, including experience with ERP systems and business process optimization.
