This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Members of the Health Systems Director team are tasked with developing sales and access strategies that support SOBI Rare Disease products.
• The Health Systems Director (HSD) will collaborate across different functions to ensure patient access to therapies in hospitals and various care environments.
• This role involves effectively managing and coordinating with SOBI teams to engage health system stakeholders, including C-Suite executives, Pharmacy & Therapeutics committees, Pharmacy Directors, and external experts.
• Health Systems Directors are responsible for synchronizing their account-based activities with those of Market Access, Patient Services, and medical teams involved in the same accounts.
• The HSD will share on-label scientific data that translates into practical applications in real-world settings.
• Building robust relationships with key decision-makers within their accounts, the HSD will provide customers with vital product and disease information to assist them in developing and implementing optimal patient care protocols.
• The HSD will work to nurture and direct advocacy efforts that support patient protocols aligned with the complete parameters of the product label.
• The HSD will be accountable for achieving assigned objectives and skillfully guiding assigned SOBI products through significant influential pathways.
• A bachelor's degree in a scientific/medical or business field, or equivalent relevant experience, is necessary.
• A minimum of 8-12 years of proven field sales experience, including at least 3-5 years of complex institutional experience in the Rare Disease, Specialty Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Medical Device sectors, is required.
• Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in the complex dynamics of biologic distribution and acquisition at the inpatient level.
• Candidates should have experience successfully navigating Health System formulary pathways and the intricate access/reimbursement landscape.
• Exceptional account and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with strong organizational and leadership abilities to coordinate both internal and external stakeholders, as well as robust customer management skills.
• A strong clinical background with demonstrated experience in complex diseases, ideally in rare diseases, is necessary.
• Proven success in getting medical benefit products added to hospital formularies is required.
• Previous experience working with Pediatric and Adult Rheumatology and/or Hematology/Oncology physicians is advantageous.
