This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• As part of the Health Systems Director team, individuals in this role are tasked with developing sales and access strategies that support SOBI Rare Disease products and achieve designated goals for both the region and specific institutions/hospitals/health systems.
• The HSD will be responsible for collaborating across various functions to ensure that patients have access to therapy in hospitals and other care environments, in accordance with the product label.
• This role involves the effective management and coordination of supporting SOBI teams to engage with health system stakeholders, including C-Suite leaders, P&T committees, Pharmacy Directors, and external experts.
• Health Systems Directors are accountable for aligning their account-based activities with those of Market Access, Patient Services, and medical teams involved in the same accounts.
• The HSD is expected to proficiently communicate on-label scientific information that translates into practical applications in real-world settings.
• The HSD will cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers within their accounts and provide customers with essential product and disease information to assist in the development and implementation of protocols for optimal patient care.
• The Health Systems Director will nurture and channel advocacy efforts to support patient protocols that align with the complete parameters of the label.
• The Health Systems Director will be accountable for meeting assigned objectives, skillfully navigating assigned SOBI products through key influential pathways in designated systems, including C and D suite stakeholders.
• The HSD will create and implement account plans grounded in national and regional strategies.
• A bachelor's degree in a scientific/medical or business discipline, or equivalent experience, is required.
• A minimum of 8-12 years of successful field sales experience, including at least 3-5 years of complex institutional experience in the Rare Disease, Specialty Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Medical Device sectors, is necessary.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the complex dynamics of biologic distribution and acquisition at the inpatient level.
• Proven experience navigating Health System formulary pathways and the intricate access/reimbursement landscape is highly desirable.
• Exceptional experience in Account and Stakeholder Management is required, along with strong organizational and leadership skills to coordinate both internal and external stakeholders, as well as robust customer management capabilities.
• Strong clinical knowledge with demonstrated experience in managing complex diseases, preferably rare diseases, is essential.
• Proven success in adding medical benefit products to hospital formularies is essential.
• Prior experience working with Pediatric and Adult Rheumatology and/or Hematology/Oncology physicians is a plus.
