Health Systems Analyst – Integrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the analysis, design, development, and execution of business processes within the VHA.

• Execute comprehensive evaluations of current operational states and establish future-state frameworks.

• Create new business processes and revamp existing workflows to tackle challenges and enhance efficiency.

• Oversee the newly designed processes to ensure ongoing improvement and compliance with VHA policies, priorities, and strategic objectives.

• Conduct ongoing process evaluations in light of policy changes, organizational shifts, and the evolving demands of healthcare delivery.

• Offer subject matter expertise regarding VHA Medical Center operations, VISN frameworks, and the integration of clinical and business processes.

• Utilize specialized knowledge across Veterans healthcare program domains including Patient Centered Medical Home, Mental Health, Prosthetics, Telehealth, Women’s Health, Specialty Care, Veterans Homelessness, and Geriatrics and Extended Care.

• Partner with VHA leadership and stakeholders to drive process improvement initiatives.

• Provide guidance on the integration of business and clinical processes with associated healthcare education systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Health Systems Management, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Public Administration, or a related field.

• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience within a large-scale government integrated healthcare system.

• Significant involvement in Veterans healthcare programs.

• Proficiency in analyzing, designing, developing, and executing healthcare business processes.

• Extensive experience with VHA Medical Center operations.

• Familiarity with Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) frameworks.

• Strong comprehension of clinical and administrative processes within the VHA.

• Experience with affiliated healthcare education systems.

• Capability to identify operational challenges and formulate process redesign strategies.

• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.

• Desired: experience leading organization-wide process improvement initiatives in Federal healthcare systems.

• Desired: knowledge of the development and implementation of Federal healthcare policy.

• Desired: certification in Lean Six Sigma, Change Management (e.g., PROSCI®), or similar methodologies.

• Desired: experience as a Health Informatics Integrator in a VHA Facility.
