Health & Safety Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Assume the role of PSDP across a variety of construction projects.

• Oversee dedicated projects with a focus on financial management.

• Collaborate with designers to identify, mitigate, or eliminate hazards from the initial phases.

• Prepare the Preliminary Health & Safety Plan, Stage Reports, and the final Safety File.

• Ensure all design elements comply with legal health and safety requirements, providing clients with competence advice.

• Advocate for safety in design, facilitate cooperation among the design team, and communicate risks effectively.

• Conduct site audits and contribute to enhancements in safety practices.

• Assist in the preparation and upkeep of Team documentation, including Fee bids, Tenders, and General Administrative requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant third-level qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, engineering, or construction/project management.

• Ideally, a minimum of 2-4 years of post-graduate experience in a consultancy environment performing the PSDP role.

• IOSH membership or in the process of joining a professional organization related to your field.

• Self-motivated and proactive within a dynamic project setting.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent communication and IT proficiency.

• Exceptional people management abilities and project execution skills.

• A full, clean driving license.
