📋 Description

• Serve as an advocate for members seeking assistance within the health benefits landscape.

• Assist members in addressing inquiries related to their benefits.

• Identify providers that offer both high-quality services and cost-effectiveness.

• Comprehend benefit claims processes.

• Take ownership of resolving customer requests.

• Educate members about benefit programs offered by clients.

• Provide recommendations for providers and guidance on referrals.

• Prepare cost estimates and communicate members' out-of-pocket responsibilities.

• Clarify prescription formulary options and outcomes related to prior authorizations.

• Proactively identify unmet clinical needs among members.

• Connect members to health and benefits programs sponsored by the company.

• Offer proactive updates to ensure members feel supported throughout the resolution process.

• Compose appeals for healthcare services directed to carriers and clients.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a medical assistant or medical support role, or 3 years in a customer-facing position within the healthcare sector.

• Capability to work effectively within a remote team setting.

• Strong listening, reasoning, and analytical abilities.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• A strong willingness and desire to continually learn in a dynamic environment.

• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving proficiency.

• Ability to effectively organize work tasks to meet deadlines.

• A passion for delivering the highest level of client satisfaction.

• Ability to accept and promptly apply constructive feedback.

• Skill in developing effective relationships with clients based on empathy and trust.

• Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
