This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Conduct market analysis.
• Examine healthcare applications (such as biopharma, laboratory vacuum, hospital/medical gases) and plastics recycling to pinpoint growth opportunities.
• Assess industries for resilience, regulatory shifts, and their connection to sustainability.
• Track competitors and identify product gaps to bolster sales and portfolio strategies.
• Develop market segmentation and value propositions.
• Assist sales teams in managing key accounts through performance evaluations and innovation planning.
• Offer insights on applications and markets to guide customer strategies.
• Drive the acquisition of new strategic customers and create compelling business cases.
• Counsel portfolio managers on trends, applications, and competitor positioning.
• Aid in new product development and the formulation of business cases.
• Align pricing and value strategies with sales and product teams.
• Provide sales support.
• Deliver targeted training and technical assistance to enhance sales effectiveness.
• Bridge competency gaps through tools, coaching, and customized materials.
• Collaborate with marketing on messaging, campaigns, and promotional materials.
• Elevate brand visibility through trade shows, digital content, and industry-specific activities.
• Create and refresh training materials on health and plastics recycling, serving as a subject-matter and market expert for internal stakeholders, customers, and external audiences (including conference presentations, webinars, and customer events).
• Demonstrated vertical strategies that resulted in tangible revenue and margin growth.
• Enhanced positioning in health and plastics recycling through the acquisition of key customers and increased market presence.
• Developed internal capabilities across teams via regular training and collaboration.
• Acknowledged subject-matter expert trusted by both internal and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical/commercial discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in market development, product management, or technical sales—ideally in industrial applications such as vacuum technology, compressors, or sustainable technologies.
• Proven success in managing strategic customers, identifying market opportunities, and influencing cross-functional teams.
• Experience in healthcare, life sciences, plastics recycling, or related sustainability-focused sectors is highly advantageous.
• International business experience and strong proficiency in English are required; additional languages are a plus.
• Travel requirement: this position necessitates over 50% travel within Europe.
