Health Educator – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive health education to members in an interactive, webinar-style format, focusing on GLP-1 medications and the health coaching initiative.

• Assist members in grasping fundamental information regarding their medication and illustrate how health coaching enhances their overall health journey.

• Collaborate with program staff and coaching leadership to adequately prepare members for coaching and establish transparent expectations.

• Employ presentation and facilitation strategies to convey clear, engaging, and accessible educational material.

• Adhere to approved educational content, program guidelines, and organizational policies.

• Refer any patient-specific or clinical inquiries to the member's healthcare provider.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) certification.

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Health Education, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in delivering live virtual health education, webinars, or group presentations aimed at adult audiences.

• Experience in providing health education concerning GLP-1 medications and weight management.

• Excellent public speaking and facilitation abilities.

• Ability to discuss general medication and program details within a clearly defined scope.

• Consistent access to a private, professional environment for conducting live virtual sessions.
