Health Coach – UK Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Assisting patients through asynchronous in-app messaging, one-on-one calls, and group coaching sessions, particularly focused on obesity management.

• Channeling patient inquiries and feedback to the appropriate internal teams.

• Collaborating within a cross-functional and multidisciplinary team to triage, respond to, and escalate patient communications, thereby minimizing safety risks.

• Engaging directly with individuals facing genuine health challenges and medical diagnoses, with the ability to identify, respond to, and escalate interactions and situations in line with guidelines and exceptions.

• Maintaining a high standard of support and care for patients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Specific to dietetics: Registered Dietitian (registered with HCPSA: Health Professions Council of South Africa), a minimum of 1 year of experience in dietetics, and completion of relevant ongoing CPD requirements.

• Naturally empathetic, dependable, caring, and equipped with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Highly organized, self-sufficient, and capable of working effectively in a team environment.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Comfortable with technology and enthusiastic about rapid changes and creative problem-solving.

• Experience in behavior change techniques aimed at facilitating weight loss for patients.

• It goes without saying that you are passionate about patient experience and committed to understanding and solving patient issues.

• Bonus points for:

• Full professional proficiency in Spanish, as we plan to expand our team to support our members in Spain.

• Previous experience in digital health (telehealth).

• Qualifications in exercise science or experience in enhancing patients' physical activity levels.

• Experience in a highly dynamic environment.
