Health Coach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize motivational interviewing as a fundamental aspect of every interaction with members.

• Collaborate with members to establish personalized, achievable goals and guide them through behavior modification using a health coaching methodology.

• Reinforce care plans created by Registered Dietitians and clinical personnel, assisting members in transforming recommendations into everyday practices.

• Aid members in embracing sustainable, anti-inflammatory lifestyle changes, focusing on elements such as stress management, sleep quality, and physical activity.

• Evaluate members' stages of change and readiness, tailoring your coaching techniques and motivational interviewing strategies accordingly.

• Engage in specialized training to enhance knowledge in functional health, autoimmune protocols, and advanced motivational interviewing methods.

• Collaborate with dietitians, clinicians, and the wider care team to embed WellTheory's care model into the lives of members.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a health coaching role, preferably with autoimmune patients.

• NBC-HWC Board Certification (mandatory).

• Health coaching certification from an accredited, NBC-HWC-approved training institution.

• Knowledge of autoimmune diseases is preferred.

• Experience in other digital health organizations is a plus.

• Expertise in motivational interviewing.

• Proficiency in behavior change methodologies.
