This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Meet sales targets within a designated territory
• Build, sustain, and enhance business relationships with targeted General Practitioners, selected specialists, and affiliated health professionals
• Promote Tolmar products and encourage appropriate on-label prescribing through clinical discussions and value-based conversations
• Create, sustain, and grow sales by optimizing appropriate product use among targeted healthcare professionals
• Engage with prescribing healthcare providers and deliver compliant, value-oriented product information
• Implement territory business plans that align with national and regional sales goals
• Share approved clinical, therapeutic, disease-state, and product information
• Develop and present customized sales presentations that support prescribing decisions
• Identify educational needs and lead compliant HCP learning initiatives, peer-to-peer educational events, and speaker programs
• Analyze sales data and performance reports to manage priorities and discover opportunities
• Maintain CRM records to document sales activities, insights, trends, objectives, and territory performance
• Complete routine reports accurately and punctually
• Manage call activities and territory routing for optimal coverage
• Represent the company at local, regional, and national meetings and events
• Manage promotional materials and budgets in adherence to company guidelines
• Collaborate with Sales Management, Marketing, and Medical Affairs
• Report Adverse Events and Technical Complaints in accordance with company SOPs
• Perform other assigned tasks
• Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or a related discipline
• Two or more years of proven sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• A consistent history of surpassing sales quotas
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capabilities
• Advanced organizational and follow-up skills
• Negotiation and sales technique skills with a demonstrated accountability for executing sales strategies
• Ability to learn technical and scientific product information
• Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Ability to handle interruptions and tight deadlines
• Skill in executing effective territory business plans
• Proficiency in building relationships with internal and external customers
• Initiative to take action without detailed direction
• Good judgment, discretion, and adherence to industry ethical standards
• Assertive selling techniques, including requesting business on every call
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to be approved and insured to operate a company vehicle
• Residence within the central area of the assigned territory
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Willingness to work additional hours and weekends as needed
• Company vehicle
• Mileage reporting for company vehicle and support for fleet maintenance
• Travel for company meetings, training sessions, and sales conferences
• Overnight travel as necessary, up to 20%
• Air travel as required
