Health and Safety Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Ensuring that Health and Safety systems are accurate, up-to-date, and ready for reporting and assurance purposes.

• Overseeing compliance activities, managing controlled documents, organizing meetings, training sessions, and events.

• Generating dependable reports and KPIs to aid in decision-making processes.

• Monitoring follow-up actions while supporting audits and fostering continuous improvement initiatives.

• Offering practical assistance and appropriately referring specialized matters.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in the social housing sector.

• Background in health and safety, compliance, governance, or coordination roles.

• Familiarity with UK health and safety legislation.

• Experience in maintaining systems, controlled documents, records, and action trackers.

• Proficient in producing compliance reports, KPIs, or management information.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.

• Confidence to follow up on actions, constructively challenge when necessary, and identify when issues need escalation.
