Head of Supply – Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain a comprehensive supplier network: preferred hotel partners, a regional DMC pool, experience specialists, event production, and an insurance/assistance layer.

• Negotiate fixed net rates at the time of signing, including group allotments during shoulder-season weeks.

• Secure resort block purchases and charters 2–4 quarters in advance of the departure schedule.

• Maintain net-rate savings compared to the market and minimize attrition losses to nearly zero.

• Manage supplier scorecards informed by post-trip evaluations; renew, renegotiate, or replace based on evidence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in group-travel contracting or procurement, including hotel-chain group sales, tour-operator or bedbank purchasing, cruise/charter brokerage, or MICE procurement, with personal accountability for net-rate negotiations (not in an assistant/support role).

• A proven history of executing group allotment agreements with attrition and release clauses that safeguarded the buyer, including specific examples rather than a broad "negotiated contracts" statement.

• An active, current network within resort chains, hotel groups, and DMCs, with a strong preference for candidates engaged in our key markets: South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Switzerland, Italy, or Mexico (at least one, ideally two).

• Commercial acumen - you think in terms of net rates, release dates, and deposit structures, and can illustrate a trip's margin on a single page.

• Exceptional negotiation skills combined with the interpersonal abilities to encourage suppliers to welcome our groups back.
