Head of Supply Chain & Operations – DTC Supplement Brands

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations, which includes inventory forecasting, stock planning, and procurement.

• Cultivate and manage relationships with suppliers and factories, particularly with international manufacturing partners based in China.

• Supervise freight forwarding, customs coordination, and import procedures.

• Direct 3PL operations and enhance logistics performance.

• Optimize expenses and negotiate favorable payment terms with suppliers and associates.

• Administer ERP systems and ensure accurate, comprehensive reporting across all supply chain data.

• Create and implement scalable systems that adapt as the business expands.

• Ensure product availability, maintain accurate forecasting, reduce landed costs, improve delivery speed and consistency, strengthen supplier relationships, and ensure timely, clean reporting, all while allowing operations to run independently of the founder's involvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale supply chains.

• Experience within DTC or eCommerce brands.

• Proficiency in the English language is mandatory.

• Proficiency in the German language is desirable.

• Extensive experience with international logistics and suppliers based in China.

• Strong capabilities in inventory planning, procurement, and supplier negotiations.

• Practical experience with 3PL operations and ERP systems.

• A history of successfully leading teams and developing operational infrastructure.

• A mindset focused on ownership, speed, and systematic processes.

• Ability to make informed, data-driven decisions and question existing assumptions.

• Readiness to be available as needed by the business, including weekends when necessary.
