This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of SE attach rate, win rate, and revenue per SE across all Americas segments, from Early Stage to Enterprise and Strategic.
• Collaborate with Sales and Account Management leaders in each segment to ensure appropriate technical support is available at every stage for all deal types.
• Facilitate workshop-driven engagement that reduces sales cycles, enhances forecast accuracy, and accelerates the time to value.
• Develop and uphold competitive positioning and technical proof points that succeed in securing complex deals.
• Establish trust and credibility with prospects and customers throughout the technical evaluation process, creating an experience that embodies Vanta's values and lays the groundwork for long-term customer success.
• Lead and nurture a team of Solutions Engineers across Early Stage, Growth, Commercial, and Enterprise segments.
• Foster a culture of speed, accuracy, and customer focus where SEs take the initiative.
• Collaborate with the Global Center of Excellence and Enablement to expedite ramp-up time and enhance team performance.
• Attract, develop, and retain exceptional technical talent within a rapidly growing AMER organization.
• Act as a genuine partner to the AMER GTM Leadership — proactive, data-informed, and collaborative. Anticipate needs before being asked.
• Work closely with Sales and Account Management Directors across Early Stage, Growth, Commercial, and Enterprise to refine the SE process for each segment.
• Collaborate with Product teams to relay field insights and influence roadmap priorities.
• Coordinate with Customer Success to ensure smooth transitions and strong outcomes post-sale.
• Represent NAMER Solutions in global leadership discussions with clear data and a confident perspective.
• Manage the SE scorecard and operating rhythm for AMER, including weekly updates, QBRs, deal inspections, and forecast evaluations.
• Promote consistent data entry and hygiene across Salesforce, Gong, and Dust to ensure the visibility and repeatability of Solutions impact.
• Establish and maintain clear engagement rules so that each segment receives timely and appropriate SE support.
• Contribute to Vanta's Global Solutions COE by creating playbooks and best practices that can be scaled across regions.
• Aim to innovate and build with AI to enhance efficiency and achieve higher-quality outcomes.
• Over 12 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, pre-sales, or technical consulting in the SaaS sector, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• A proven history of leading SE teams across different segments, ideally including both high-velocity SMB/Growth operations and complex Enterprise transactions.
• Extensive experience collaborating with Sales leadership at the VP and Director levels — not only supporting them but jointly owning outcomes.
• Demonstrated capability to create operational systems that make Solutions impact quantifiable and consistent.
• A background in GRC, compliance, security, or identity is a significant advantage.
• This position is on par with the leadership roles of our EMEA and APJ regional heads — comparable experience and tenure are expected.
• Success in this position will be assessed based on: SE attach rate and win rate across NAMER segments; revenue per SE and ARR influenced by Solutions; acceleration of sales cycles in SE-attached deals; SE ramp-up time and time to the first deal; team retention, engagement, and development; and the quality and consistency of the Sales-Solutions partnership across all AMER segments.
