This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement Securin's comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the SLED sector.

• Take ownership of revenue growth and pipeline development within State, Local Government, and Education sectors.

• Identify, prioritize, and engage with target accounts, agencies, municipalities, higher education institutions, and K-12 organizations.

• Cultivate and sustain executive-level relationships with stakeholders in the public sector.

• Manage the pipeline through prospecting, networking, channel partnerships, strategic account planning, and industry engagement.

• Navigate procurement processes in the public sector, including RFPs, RFIs, contract vehicles, cooperative purchasing agreements, and funding cycles.

• Build and enhance relationships with channel partners, resellers, systems integrators, MSSPs, and public-sector alliances.

• Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, messaging, and demand generation efforts specific to the public sector.

• Recruit, lead, and mentor a team of full-cycle Account Executives.

• Work closely with Product and Executive Leadership to influence product direction and company strategy.

• Represent Securin at conferences, trade associations, cybersecurity events, and executive forums.

• Forecast revenue, manage pipeline health, and ensure visibility of business performance.

• Advise on future hiring, territory expansion, and organizational growth strategies.

• Utilize AI-driven workflows to automate pipeline generation, deal progression, and data reporting.

• Establish a public-sector go-to-market roadmap and a sustainable pipeline-generation engine.

• Identify key customers and transform outreach into partnerships within government and education sectors.

• Formalize strategic partner relationships and develop infrastructure for the future expansion of the SLED team.

• Achieve pipeline and revenue targets while enhancing Securin's visibility in public-sector cybersecurity.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in enterprise cybersecurity, security SaaS, or technology sales.

• At least 5 years of experience selling to State, Local Government, and Education organizations.

• Proven success in building, scaling, or leading a public-sector sales practice, territory, or business unit.

• Demonstrated ability to exceed quotas and drive revenue growth in complex enterprise sales settings.

• Experience managing sales opportunities valued in six and seven figures.

• In-depth knowledge of public-sector procurement processes, budgeting cycles, and purchasing mechanisms.

• Established relationships with decision-makers in government agencies, municipalities, counties, higher education institutions, and K-12 organizations.

• Experience in developing and leveraging channel partnerships within public-sector markets.

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.

• Capability to recruit exceptional Account Executive talent.

• Ability to excel in a dynamic startup environment with a high degree of autonomy.

• Preferred: Experience selling cybersecurity solutions related to exposure management, vulnerability management, attack surface management, CTEM, risk management, or similar security categories.

• Preferred: Relationships with public-sector-focused VARs, MSSPs, systems integrators, and strategic partners.

• Preferred: Experience in launching or expanding a new market segment within a growth-stage technology firm.

• Preferred: Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, compliance requirements, and risk-management practices pertinent to government and education sectors.

• Remote work available within the United States.

• Expected travel of 25-40%.
