Head of SEO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for the affiliate portfolio and continue its growth.

• Collaborate with major publishers to transform SEO opportunities into quantifiable business outcomes.

• Formulate and implement SEO strategies for various affiliate websites across multiple sectors.

• Spearhead continuous launches in new markets.

• Foster revenue enhancement for current affiliate websites.

• Optimize high-quality pages for improved rankings and click-through rates (CTR).

• Manage backlink campaigns for several affiliate websites.

• Oversee the end-to-end launch of new affiliate websites, which includes keyword clustering, topic mapping, content structuring, and coordination with stakeholders.

• Perform content audits and enhance the utilization of SERP features.

• Direct link-building efforts and collaborate with agencies and publishers to bolster domain authority.

• Investigate publishers, evaluate new market opportunities, and analyze domain authority and traffic patterns.

• Assess expansion prospects using business growth frameworks.

• Mentor, guide, and cultivate a team of SEO Content Managers.

• Report to the Head of Organic and work in close partnership with publishers, Vertical Managers, and Content teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in both on-page and off-page SEO.

• Proven track record of driving organic growth.

• Demonstrated ability to lead a team with an emphasis on development, motivation, and high performance.

• Native proficiency in German.

• Fluent in English (C1+).

• Confident in stakeholder management in both languages.

• Ideally located in Berlin; remote work options are available for the right candidate.

• Possess an analytical and structured approach to work.

• Capable of prioritizing tasks effectively, communicating clearly, and making decisions in high-pressure situations.

• Willing to thrive in a dynamic, flat, startup-like environment.

• Experience in the iGaming sector or other affiliate marketing fields is advantageous.
