Head of Security Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver essential leadership and technical guidance for the Security Engineering team.

• Safeguard GFiber’s fundamental network infrastructure.

• Propel the successful implementation of significant security initiatives.

• Supervise and mentor the Security Engineering team, providing technical oversight and strategic direction.

• Design and deploy robust security measures.

• Leverage AI and automation to address intricate security challenges and enhance SecEng operations.

• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate security best practices throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience.

• 10 years of experience in network security or security engineering.

• Experience in designing and implementing security architectures.

• 3 years of experience in managing and leading engineering teams.

• CISSP, CISM, or similar industry-recognized security certifications are preferred.

• Proven creativity in utilizing AI tools to resolve engineering or security issues is preferred.
