This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Design and implement a sales enablement function, encompassing strategy, frameworks, and organizational structure.
• Create a multi-year roadmap that aligns with Cohere’s revenue and product progression, ensuring that enablement grows alongside the business.
• Develop and curate impactful resources (such as playbooks, battle cards, demo scripts, and certification programs) specifically designed for Cohere’s AI/ML solutions.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales leadership to integrate enablement throughout all phases of the sales lifecycle.
• Set KPIs (like win rates and sales cycle efficiency) and leverage analytics to enhance enablement initiatives and demonstrate ROI.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing enablement team, promoting a culture of ongoing improvement.
• Manage enablement tools (including CRM and learning platforms) and budget distribution to optimize efficiency.
• Over 10 years of experience in sales enablement leadership, showcasing a successful history of building and scaling functions in rapidly growing technology companies.
• Capability to design long-term enablement strategies that align with business objectives and market changes.
• Expertise in enterprise sales methodologies (such as MEDDIC and Challenger Sale) and CRM systems (like Salesforce).
• Experience in team building and influencing executives within a revenue-focused environment.
• Proven success in creating and implementing sales training programs and materials that yield results.
• Strong skills in data analysis, reporting, and utilizing insights to enhance enablement efforts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• Nice to Have: Background in AI/ML or enterprise software sales.
• Nice to Have: Certification in sales enablement or instructional design.
• Nice to Have: Familiarity with scaling enablement in hyper-growth settings.
