This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the thought partner and operational deputy to the CPO, creating briefing materials, ensuring follow-through on essential initiatives, and representing the CPO in specific forums.
• Manage the CPO's planning calendar, including quarterly business reviews, product leadership retreats, board and executive updates, and annual planning cycles.
• Synthesize complex, cross-functional inputs into clear written recommendations, decision documents, and narratives for senior audiences.
• Anticipate issues before they arise for the CPO—actively resolving obstacles, fostering alignment, and escalating only matters that genuinely require executive attention.
• Develop and implement the product operating model for an AI-centric organization—including portfolio prioritization, OKR processes, roadmap governance, and cross-functional rituals.
• Create streamlined, high-impact reporting cadences that provide the CPO and product leadership with real-time insights into progress, risks, and decisions.
• Oversee quarterly and annual planning: gathering inputs from product, engineering, design, data science, and go-to-market teams to create a coherent, actionable plan.
• Identify and eliminate operational inefficiencies—the aim is to foster a product organization that delivers swiftly and with minimal friction, rather than increasing processes.
• Lead critical transformation initiatives on behalf of the CPO—covering organizational design, AI integration, new capability development, and cross-functional change management.
• Serve as a program manager for initiatives that span multiple teams and lack a natural single owner.
• Establish the framework for how the product organization makes and communicates decisions—from DACI frameworks to async-first working norms.
• Collaborate with People, Finance, and Legal as necessary to bring structure to personnel and resource decisions within the product organization.
• Contribute to defining operations as an AI-native product organization—testing new tools, workflows, and norms and promoting them across the team.
• Foster a culture around how the product organization utilizes, generates, and responds to AI-driven insights.
• Collaborate with product and design leadership to incorporate AI-first thinking into our scoping, prototyping, and evaluation processes.
• 7–12+ years of experience in product management, strategy, management consulting, chief of staff, or business operations roles—preferably with significant experience in a high-growth technology or healthcare technology company.
• Proven history of building from the ground up. You have established new processes, teams, or functions and know how to gain buy-in without direct authority.
• Familiarity with AI tools and contemporary product operating models. You are curious and have strong opinions on how AI transforms team dynamics, along with practical experience applying AI.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. You can produce a concise one-pager for the CEO and a detailed PRD spec within the same week, adapting your message to suit the audience.
• Strong product intuition. While you don't need to be a product manager, you must fluently speak the language—roadmaps, trade-offs, customer insights, and technical constraints.
• Structured thinking in ambiguous situations. You can manage complexity, navigate incomplete information, and still drive decisions forward.
• Genuine comfort as an individual contributor. You are eager to build something from scratch and are motivated by the prospect of getting hands-on.
• High emotional intelligence and organizational savvy. You quickly build trust, navigate competing priorities with empathy, and know how to influence without causing friction.
• Generous Paid Time Off: Recharge and relax with 20 days of fixed time off per year, in addition to company holidays—because we believe work-life balance fuels performance.
• Best-in-Class Parental Leave: Spend quality time with your growing family. We offer one of the industry’s most generous parental leave policies to support you during life’s most important moments.
• Recognition & Rewards: We celebrate wins—big and small. Get rewarded with monetary incentives and company-wide recognition for your impact and dedication. Your hard work won’t go unnoticed.
• Comprehensive Insurance Coverage: Stay covered with medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus 100% company-paid short- and long-term disability and basic life insurance. Optional perks include discounted legal aid and pet insurance.
