This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Develop the strategy and roadmap for the ALD suite β make critical decisions regarding what features to prioritize, what to postpone, and the rationale behind those choices.
β’ Cultivate relationships with ALD's key clients β hedge fund analysts, quantitative researchers, and mutual fund portfolio managers. Their workflows shape the roadmap, and your presence allows you to understand their needs firsthand.
β’ Transform new opportunities from conceptualization to client-validated assurance β Engineering gets involved only after validating the evidence.
β’ Uphold the quality commitments that set Guideline apart in the industry β ensuring consistency in coverage and accuracy in forecasts are product promises, and you're responsible for maintaining them.
β’ Determine how ALD data is delivered to clients β whether through data cloud marketplaces, direct APIs, flat files, or integrations β and manage the reliability and experience of each delivery channel.
β’ Be the most knowledgeable individual in the organization regarding the competitive landscape; understand Guideline's advantages and disadvantages, and how product decisions can affect the competitive balance.
β’ Collaborate closely with the CPO on domain strategy; provide ground-level client and market insights that enrich those discussions.
β’ Regularly build and implement AI agents and skills as a standard aspect of the role.
β’ 12β16 years of experience in product management with substantial expertise in ad intelligence, alternative data, or data-intensive B2B products.
β’ Has managed a licensed data product that external clients utilize β understands the implications for buyers when delivery delays or data quality issues arise.
β’ Has developed a portfolio strategy catering to various buyer types β recognizing differing needs, evaluation criteria, and success definitions β and has ensured coherence across them.
β’ Possesses strong analytical skills β able to engage with data scientists and engineers on quality methodologies, rather than merely overseeing from a distance.
β’ Relates domain decisions to P&L outcomes without needing prompts β communicates in the language of business, not just product, and credibly represents the domain in discussions with executives and commercial teams.
β’ Regularly builds and deploys AI agents and skills as part of routine responsibilities; this is expected at this level, rather than being seen as a special distinction.
