Head of Pre Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic direction and oversight for all design management functions within JLL's project portfolio.

• Set standards for design excellence, methodologies, and best practices applicable to all project categories.

• Spearhead innovation initiatives and the incorporation of emerging design technologies and processes.

• Establish benchmarks for design quality and performance metrics throughout the portfolio.

• Cultivate an organizational design culture and advocate for client-focused design solutions.

• Offer strategic guidance for design activities across various projects and regions.

• Create frameworks for design governance and quality assurance procedures.

• Track design performance, risks, and opportunities on a portfolio-wide basis.

• Ensure uniformity in design standards and delivery methods throughout the organization.

• Assemble, mentor, and lead a high-performing design management team.

• Develop talent pipelines and succession strategies for design leadership roles.

• Champion the implementation of advanced design management systems and digital tools.

• Ensure seamless integration between design development and construction execution phases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related design field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Professional licensure (PE, RA, or equivalent) is mandatory.

• Over 15 years of progressive experience in design management or the construction sector, with a minimum of 5 years in senior leadership roles.

• Proven experience in leading design organizations or large design teams.

• Extensive background across various project types, delivery methods, and geographical markets.

• In-depth knowledge of building systems, construction methodologies, and project delivery frameworks.

• Demonstrated achievements in strategic planning, organizational development, and change management.
