This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Direct the PPC strategy and performance for a specialized agency in the US.
• Oversee campaign management, enhance performance, guide a team, and provide counsel to key clients.
• Develop customized paid search strategies to boost visibility and attract high-quality leads across platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and more.
• Supervise daily search marketing operations, which include campaign planning, keyword analysis, A/B testing, and optimization efforts.
• Construct campaign attribution models and reporting frameworks to evaluate effectiveness.
• Monitor KPIs such as lead volume, cost per lead, conversion rates, and ROI, utilizing data to facilitate enhancements.
• Lead and mentor the paid search team to ensure achievement of performance targets.
• Serve as the primary liaison for key accounts, engaging in client communications and meetings.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in paid search focused on lead generation (not e-commerce), with proficiency in strategic planning, campaign management, and optimizing acquisition costs and ROAS.
• Significant experience (3+ years) managing Google Ads accounts with monthly budgets under $5K, particularly for local service businesses.
• Demonstrated capability to manage over 20 accounts of this scale and type concurrently on a monthly basis.
• Previous experience in an advertising agency is preferred, along with a strong history in lead generation, especially in home services or related industries.
• Profound understanding of platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, YouTube, Google Local Services Ads, and CTV.
• Experience in leading and developing teams, with a robust portfolio showcasing campaign performance and ROI optimization.
• Proficiency in conversion tracking, attribution modeling, and analytics tools, in addition to campaign automation and bid management.
• Capability to juggle competing priorities across multiple accounts and adjust strategies based on emerging trends.
• Advanced skills in Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and lead tracking tools.
• Knowledge of CRM systems, data analysis, and landing page optimization.
• Google certification in at least two of the following: Google Ads Search, Google Ads Display, Google Ads Video.
• Excellent written and verbal English proficiency with the ability to communicate effectively with global teams and US clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams, prioritize tasks, and articulate complex strategies clearly.
• Adaptable and enthusiastic about keeping up with industry developments.
