This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee all inventory planning and forecasting activities for a designated business portfolio.
• Take charge of forecasting and replenishment to enhance inventory turnover, in-stock performance, and return on investment.
• Anticipate item demand at the style-color-size level on a weekly basis to meet inventory KPIs.
• Collaborate with internal sourcing teams and external suppliers to maximize product availability.
• Design and implement integrated, intelligent, and automated forecasting solutions alongside the technology team.
• Perform analytics and root-cause analysis to uncover opportunities for KPI enhancement.
• Model vendor relationships, terms, and risk profiles in collaboration with sourcing.
• Create short-, mid-, and long-term inventory and replenishment strategies that align with business objectives.
• Deliver forecasts, strategies, and performance updates to executives on a weekly basis.
• Guide and mentor team members as the function expands.
• Influence future planning methodologies and design scalable planning solutions and capabilities.
• Senior Manager level or higher; Director level preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in inventory planning, merchandising, or related analytics/technology roles.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in advanced Excel statistical functions.
• Familiarity with Google Suite and comfort in handling large data sets.
• Experience in prototyping inventory optimization techniques and translating insights into scalable technology.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to maximize opportunities and mitigate risks.
• A strong commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Proven capability to locate, organize, and utilize data to draw actionable insights with minimal assumptions.
• Comfort in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment where established processes may be under development.
• Preferred traits: curiosity, ability to share informed viewpoints, adaptability, scalable process development, strong presentation and communication skills, understanding of forecasting and financial performance, and focus on technology-driven operational enhancements.
• Base salary ranging from $189,000 to $247,000 USD.
• Bonus may be available for eligible positions.
