This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You will lead and nurture our seven-member People team (comprising four direct and three indirect reports), fostering an environment where each individual can excel.
• Reporting directly to the CEO, you will serve as a strategic partner and a trusted advisor to the Senior Leadership Team on all forward-looking and operational people-related matters.
• You will influence and enhance our company culture by creating initiatives that sustainably improve our cohesion, psychological safety, and engagement, particularly in our remote work setup.
• Your role involves managing and optimizing the essential areas of our People function, which include Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnering, Learning & Development (L&D), and HR Operations.
• You will hold strategic responsibility for the people budget, ensuring effective control of personnel costs throughout the organization while closely collaborating with the Finance team.
• You will design modern, scalable HR processes that align with our agile working style and support the company's growth.
• You possess a minimum of 8 years of substantial professional experience in HR, preferably in a start-up or scale-up setting, and at least 3 years of demonstrated experience in team leadership.
• You blend empathetic leadership with practical expertise in Organizational Design and Change Management, adapting organizational structures to our agile growth.
• You have a robust hands-on background with extensive operational experience in Talent Acquisition (recruiting) and HR Business Partnering.
• You exhibit a strong analytical mindset, utilizing HR KPIs (People Analytics) strategically to make informed, data-driven decisions for the organization.
• You possess a comprehensive understanding of German employment law and significant experience with the legal frameworks applicable to remote work.
• You are comfortable in an agile software/AI environment and communicate fluently in both German and English, in writing and verbally.
