This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take full ownership of our Paid Social and Paid Search channels from start to finish: establish strategy, prioritize operations, and oversee execution to effectively scale new customer acquisition within our subscription-based e-commerce/D2C framework.
• Spearhead the Meta execution process by crafting a robust creative strategy, managing a fast-paced, high-quality creative production workflow with internal teams and agencies, and continuously enhancing sales funnels (including landing pages) in collaboration with our Shop team.
• Oversee and cultivate a high-performing in-house team and external partners: establish clear priorities and responsibilities while consistently refining workflows, tools, and infrastructure, emphasizing AI and automation.
• Enhance Google performance by refining campaign setups, ad strategies, and budget distribution, while also exploring and testing new funnels tailored to various intent clusters.
• Conduct structured channel reporting and qualitative creative assessments: systematically identify bottlenecks, innovative messaging angles, and growth prospects, providing clear direction to the team.
• Transform performance, creative, and customer insights into clear hypotheses and organized testing roadmaps for media purchasing, creative production, and funnel enhancement.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams—including Design, Product/Customer Research, Shop, Data/Analytics, other Sales Channels, and Operations—to synchronize priorities and maximize business impact throughout the funnel.
• Stay informed about platform advancements, algorithm modifications, and best practices both within and beyond the dog-food market, while monitoring advanced markets (particularly the US and UK) to derive insights and testing opportunities.
• Over 6 years of experience in paid channels with a proven record of driving profitable new customer growth for e-commerce/D2C brands.
• Extensive operational and strategic knowledge in Meta and Google with complete ownership in previous roles, encompassing strategy, budget planning and forecasting, hands-on execution, and performance evaluation, with clear accountability for outcomes.
• Strong analytical capabilities and comfort with numerical data: integrate various data sources and attribution models with a customer-focused mindset and commercial/sales insight.
• Proficient in direct-response creative strategy and funnel development (including landing pages), with the ability to create structured, insight-driven creative testing pipelines to enhance message-market alignment and conversion throughout the funnel.
• Leadership experience in managing in-house teams, agencies, and freelancers, accompanied by strong execution, stakeholder management, and project management skills to deliver intricate projects in a dynamic environment.
• A builder mentality and enthusiasm for establishing scalable frameworks (workflows, reporting routines, infrastructure, and tools).
• Familiarity with AI and automation, or a strong desire to gain expertise in this domain.
• Strong sense of ownership and a drive to scale: you take initiative, remain determined in challenging scenarios, and consistently seek innovative solutions and creative strategies to facilitate growth.
