Head of Medical Physics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic direction for Medical Physics, Nuclear Medicine Physics, and Dosimetry services throughout GenesisCare UK.

• Create and execute the national Medical Physics strategy in alignment with organizational goals.

• Foster innovation by implementing new radiotherapy technologies, automation, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.

• Supervise clinical governance, patient safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across Medical Physics services.

• Lead the national strategy for radiotherapy equipment, including commissioning, replacement programs, and future capital investments.

• Enhance operational performance, workforce planning, and continuous service improvements across a nationwide multi-site network.

• Facilitate organizational growth through the establishment of new centers, expansion of clinical services, and adoption of emerging technologies.

• Cultivate strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, academic collaborators, and technology providers to promote innovation and service excellence.

• Inspire and develop a high-performing Medical Physics team.

⛳️ Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Clinical Scientist.

• Certified Medical Physics Expert (MPE) status.

• Extensive expertise in radiotherapy physics, treatment planning, and dosimetry.

• Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams across various sites.

• Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.

• Experience in commissioning radiotherapy equipment and integrating new technologies.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capability to influence, inspire, and effect change at the organizational level.
