This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Lead and develop a highly effective marketing team that aligns with Chalmers' mission and values.
• Work collaboratively across various teams including program, development, creative media, and operations.
• Set measurable objectives, monitor performance, and report on the impact and engagement of marketing efforts.
• Define key performance indicators related to audience growth, engagement, and training participation.
• Synchronize marketing strategies with revenue and participation objectives.
• Spearhead the creative growth and development of the Chalmers blog.
• Create and oversee a detailed editorial calendar.
• Transform books, podcasts, and videos into concise stories and resources.
• Provide timely commentary, case studies, and resources in response to current events.
• Source and craft original narratives from the Chalmers community.
• Ensure consistent messaging and initiate a brand refresh.
• Write accompanying copy, calls-to-action, and marketing links across various media and channels.
• Equip conferences, events, and speaking engagements with materials aimed at conversion.
• Take ownership of audience growth among practitioners, church leaders, donors, and everyday Christians.
• Design engagement pathways that connect content with community and training participation.
• Implement an earned media strategy and foster relationships with press, platforms, and ministry channels.
• Pitch stories, opinion pieces, and media placements.
• Collaborate with community management on group discussions and engagement threads.
• Monitor and improve web mentions across forums and digital communities.
• Manage and steward Google Ad Grants.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in senior-level marketing, branding, or communications leadership is preferred.
• Proven experience in leading, developing, and motivating a high-performing team.
• Track record of achieving measurable growth outcomes, including audience expansion, email growth, and conversion optimization.
• Outstanding storytelling skills alongside excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Demonstrated creativity in content creation.
• Success in building brand coherence and cultivating engaged audiences through content-driven, relational strategies.
• Experience in earned media, public relations, and developing press relationships.
• Strong digital competency, including web strategy, SEO, CRM systems like Salesforce, and analytics.
• Exceptional project management capabilities.
• Strong commitment to the Vision, Mission, and Values of the Chalmers Center.
• Adherence to the Chalmers Statement of Faith, affirming the Lausanne Covenant and Staff Commitments.
• Active involvement in a local church community.
