
Head of Market Expansion – Strategic Alliances

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the market expansion strategy and sequencing for Quidax.
• Discover and assess potential new markets, corridors, and geographical opportunities.
• Formulate market entry strategies considering regulatory, commercial, competitive, and infrastructure factors.
• Establish market readiness criteria for activation.
• Create repeatable frameworks to evaluate and prioritize expansion opportunities.
• Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with banks, custodians, regulators, licensing authorities, PSPs, fintech companies, settlement partners, and other strategic entities.
• Structure partnerships that provide market access, regulatory support, distribution advantages, cost benefits, or operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with Sales to ensure that strategic alliances contribute to revenue growth.
• Oversee partnership-driven or licensing-driven market entry strategies.
• Work alongside Compliance and Legal to mitigate risks associated with expansion.
• Confirm that markets are operational before Sales activates them.
• Design Quidax’s partner ecosystem for scalability.
• Identify gaps in enterprise adoption and address them through partnerships.
• Track competitive and regulatory changes across regions.
• Coordinate efforts across Sales, Product, Compliance, Operations, and Finance.
• Convert market insights into product and infrastructure priorities.
• Represent Quidax with regulators, financial institutions, strategic partners, and ecosystem stakeholders.
• Act as Quidax's representative at industry, regulatory, and ecosystem forums.
• Enhance Quidax’s reputation as a reliable institutional infrastructure provider.
• Over 12 years of experience in strategic partnerships, market expansion, policy, or ecosystem roles.
• Demonstrated success in opening or facilitating new markets.
• Direct experience working with regulators, banks, or industries with heavy regulation.
• Background in fintech, payments, cryptocurrency, or financial infrastructure.
• Proven capability to unlock markets through partnerships rather than solely through sales.
• Strong executive presence and proficient negotiation skills.
• A systems thinker with a propensity for sustainable leverage.
• Experience in multi-region or cross-border expansion is preferred.
• Previous collaboration with enterprise sales teams is preferred.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency or payments infrastructure is preferred.
