This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
β’ Oversee the People team: supervise two recruiters and an office manager, conduct weekly 1:1s, quarterly evaluations, and enhance their skill sets.
β’ Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle: align hiring plans with the sales pipeline, establish priorities, and facilitate or supervise approximately 50 hires annually across specialist, leadership, and back-office positions.
β’ Develop and refine recruitment processes, train hiring managers (PMs, tech leads), and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and outsourcing partners.
β’ Implement onboarding, work shadowing, and offboarding programs.
β’ Collaborate with team leads on quarterly performance evaluations, competency frameworks, development plans, and corrective action processes.
β’ Provide support during challenging situations: burnout, conflicts, terminations, and difficult discussions. You will be the go-to person for leaders.
β’ Counsel C-level executives on hiring strategies, compensation structures, team rotations, organizational design, and succession planning.
β’ Manage HR operations: contracts (B2B, UoP, UZ, NDAs), leave administration, overtime calculations, invoice approvals, and compensation reporting.
β’ Create and uphold all people policies: leave, equipment, remote work, recruitment, bonuses, offboarding, and benefits.
β’ Oversee vendor relationships: Saltus (medical), legal advisors, payroll/accounting partners, and training providers.
β’ Drive HR reporting: recruitment pipeline metrics, retention rates, headcount efficiency, and convert data into actionable insights for leadership.
β’ Spearhead people initiatives: wellbeing programs, mentoring, feedback frameworks, and strategic projects.
β’ Ensure compliance: manage ISO 27001 audits, labor inspection obligations, and access management across tools (Google, Slack, Jira, Recruitee, Calamari, and more).
β’ Integrate AI tools into your daily workflow, using them effectively rather than as a novelty.
β’ A minimum of 5 years in a senior HR/People position, with at least 2 years in a management role.
β’ Extensive hands-on recruitment experience at scale: capable of conducting a hiring process independently, not solely delegating. Experience in the tech/software services industry is highly preferred.
β’ Strong knowledge of Polish labor laws and contract types (B2B, UoP, UZ), sufficient to draft documents and make informed decisions without frequent legal consultation.
β’ Proven experience in building HR systems from the ground up or significantly overhauling existing ones: including compensation frameworks, performance reviews, onboarding programs, and policies.
β’ Commercially savvy: understanding the link between hiring plans and revenue, capable of engaging in meaningful discussions with a CEO regarding headcount versus pipeline.
β’ Proficient with data: defining metrics, generating reports, and transforming numbers into strategic recommendations rather than just dashboards.
β’ Proficient in English at C1+ level (both written and spoken).
β’ Direct and candid communicator: willing to share necessary feedback, especially in uncomfortable situations.
β’ Ability to alternate between strategic planning and hands-on execution within the same day.
β’ Proactive and responsible: if a process is flawed, you rectify it. If a policy is absent, you create it. You do not wait for approval.
β’ 26 days of paid leave (B2B).
β’ 10 days of paid sick leave.
β’ Saltus medical care (private health insurance).
β’ Training budget (2,000 PLN+): for courses, conferences, books, or anything that enhances your professional skills.
β’ Mentoring budget: access to external mentors and coaching sessions to aid your development.
β’ Fully remote work options, with a pet-friendly office in Warsaw and a coworking space in Gdansk available if desired.
