Head of Global Medical Publications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of publication managers, promoting a collaborative and high-performance environment.

• Supervise the planning, creation, and implementation of strategic publication initiatives across Therapeutic Areas.

• Offer insights on governance and industry standards to ensure effective and compliant execution of publications.

• Develop, coordinate, and standardize essential operational processes and frameworks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of publication activities.

• Collaborate with medical colleagues and other cross-functional/regional partners to increase the value of medical and scientific publications, while demonstrating their impact to both the organization and the external community.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced degree (PhD) and/or certification in a scientific medical discipline (e.g., PharmD).

• Over 10 years of pertinent experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech sector (e.g., Medical Affairs/Medical Publications/Scientific Communications).

• Demonstrated leadership experience in team management and development.

• Extensive knowledge of the highest scientific and ethical standards, enabling compliance with relevant rules and regulations.

• Proficiency in English.

• Proficiency in additional European languages is advantageous.
