This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
β’ Take full ownership of the channel from start to finish. Define and spearhead Lodgify's GEO strategy as a key acquisition and brand authority channel within the company's go-to-market framework.
β’ Foster executive alignment. Establish channel OKRs, outline the measurement framework, and communicate GEO performance and strategic direction directly to marketing leadership and the executive team.
β’ Manage the GEO roadmap and budget. Prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and make critical decisions regarding how Lodgify invests in generative search visibility.
β’ Influence product development. Collaborate with Product and Engineering to affect the product roadmap for GEO discoverability, including site architecture, structured data, content formats, AI-agent access protocols, and indexation strategy.
β’ Link GEO to revenue generation. Work closely with Sales and Revenue teams to synchronize GEO with pipeline creation, buying-journey intent mapping, and visibility goals at the ICP level.
β’ Develop agentic GEO growth loops: Build and manage AI-enabled automation workflows for content production, GEO optimization, and distribution β ranging from programmatic content pipelines to automated citation monitoring and structured data deployment.
β’ Ensure integration across all Marketing functions. Partner with Content, Brand, Growth, and Performance teams to embed GEO insights into campaigns, thought leadership strategies, and distribution efforts.
β’ Safeguard and enhance Lodgify's classical SEO foundation β focusing on technical health, crawlability, on-page optimization, authority building, and link strategy.
β’ Act as the internal expert. Serve as Lodgify's subject-matter authority on AI search: educate stakeholders, build internal frameworks, and translate rapidly changing market dynamics into clear, actionable strategic direction.
β’ Capture share of model. Increase the frequency of Lodgify being cited, mentioned, and recommended by large language models (LLMs).
β’ Develop the measurement infrastructure. Create systems, dashboards, and workflows to monitor performance, brand mentions, and competitive visibility across all generative engines.
β’ Innovate at the forefront. Lead GEO-focused experiments and product integrations by collaborating with developers, agencies, and AI partners to discover new acquisition avenues through conversational search, agentic AI, and AI Overview placements.
β’ Minimum of 8 years of experience in SEO, organic growth, or AI search optimization, including at least 3 years in a leadership or channel ownership role (Head, Director, Principal, or equivalent).
β’ Demonstrated success in delivering measurable outcomes with GEO, programmatic SEO, or AI-driven content workflows β not merely familiarity with these concepts.
β’ Proven experience in owning a search or organic channel strategy β not just executing within an established strategy.
β’ Extensive knowledge of how LLMs retrieve, chunk, and cite content β and the necessary strategies to capture share of model across AI-powered search platforms.
β’ Experience in influencing cross-functional roadmaps, especially with Product, Engineering, and Sales stakeholders at a decision-making level.
β’ Proven capability to drive engineering and product prioritization without direct authority β you've secured sprint allocations, shaped roadmaps, and mobilized cross-functional teams through the strength of your business case, rather than through reporting lines.
β’ Strong analytical mindset: adept at building measurement frameworks, defining KPIs, and communicating channel performance in business terms to non-technical audiences.
β’ Proficient executive communication skills: capable of translating complex GEO/AI search strategies into compelling narratives for leadership and the broader organization.
β’ Comfortable establishing direction in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. You do not wait for clarity β you create it.
β’ Remote Flexibility: Enjoy the freedom to work from home on any day that suits you.
β’ Time to Recharge: Benefit from 25 working days of paid vacation and Jornada Intensiva in August.
β’ Alan Health Insurance: Access premium health, dental, and mental health support via Alan, with coverage for pre-existing conditions.
β’ Meal Perk: Receive a β¬150/month allowance on your Alan card and 50% off Ametller Origen prepared dishes at the office.
β’ Tax-Free Savings: Enhance your take-home pay through Flexible Remuneration for additional meal costs (up to β¬70/mo) and public transport (up to β¬136/mo).
β’ Home Office Gear: We provide a desk, ergonomic chair, and monitor for your home office setup.
β’ Language Learning: Access free Spanish classes.
β’ Referrals: Earn cash rewards for bringing in new talent.
β’ Social Life: Enjoy daily office breakfasts and monthly team events.
β’ Dynamic Hub: Work in a high-energy, inclusive environment designed for collaboration and connection, with a team that represents over 60 countries.
