• We are seeking a strategic and commercially focused finance leader to establish and expand our FP&A capabilities during a pivotal growth phase.
• This position is integral to company decision-making, collaborating closely with the CFO and leadership team to enhance financial planning, business performance, strategic insights, and operational excellence throughout the organization.
• You will take charge of the company's financial planning and reporting schedule, which includes board reporting, updates for executive leadership, and overall financial performance reporting for the company, ensuring that stakeholders receive clear, actionable insights to aid in decision-making at all levels.
• Your responsibilities will include developing a top-notch FP&A function that merges comprehensive financial modeling, scalable systems, thorough commercial analysis, and high-quality decision support.
• A primary focus of your role will be to simplify complexities across planning, forecasting, and performance management in a dynamic, high-growth setting.
• You will provide structure, clarity, and scalable processes to facilitate rapid business expansion while enabling quicker and more effective decision-making across the organization.
• Additionally, you will spearhead the advancement of our financial systems and infrastructure, which includes implementing next-generation FP&A and financial platforms, while integrating AI and automation into core finance workflows and processes to enhance efficiency, insight generation, and forecasting capabilities.
• In conjunction with these tasks, you will build, mentor, and elevate a high-performing FP&A team that serves as a genuine strategic partner to the business, promoting a culture of commercial thinking, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing FP&A systems, planning tools, and scalable financial processes in a high-growth business environment.
• Experience in fast-paced technology start-ups or scale-ups.
• Strong financial modeling skills, including the development of models to support fundraising, investment decisions, and M&A activities.
• Proven ability to build, lead, and nurture high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to translate complex analyses into clear strategic recommendations.
• Significant experience in developing board-level reporting and data visualizations that facilitate decision-making.
• Familiarity with large, complex datasets and the modeling of various customer segments or revenue streams.
• A strategic and commercially aware perspective, with the capability to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and operational enhancement.
• Ability to work effectively in uncertain environments and resolve complex business challenges with a structured, analytical approach.
• Strong project and process management skills, with the ability to prioritize efficiently and operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative leadership style and the capability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders across the organization.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or other data and automation tools is an advantage.
