Head of Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Ongoing business planning, specifically focusing on the planning, management, and optimization of budgets and cash flows.

• Advancement of the finance function with an emphasis on automation and collaboration with various departments.

• Oversight of group accounting, notably the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, and collaboration with tax advisors, auditors, and banking partners.

• Engagement in investor relations activities, which includes routine reporting to investors on financial, operational, and impact-related KPIs.

• Assistance in securing grants, as well as debt and equity financing through targeted analyses, presentations, and applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5–10 years of pertinent professional experience in finance, accounting, and controlling, such as in the role of Head of Finance.

• Strong proficiency in integrated corporate planning (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) that includes group entities.

• Exceptional skills in Excel/Google Sheets and a solid understanding of DATEV.

• Familiarity with the following software tools is a plus: Zoho Books, Moss, Ramp, Gusto, Personio.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
