This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Directly oversee, guide, and instill accountability within a 3-member finance team.
• Ensure the team meets daily deadlines for payment processing, cash allocation, and internal inquiries with a commitment to zero errors.
• Take complete responsibility for monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) across all group entities.
• Go beyond basic reporting to provide in-depth ratio analyses and marketing financial reporting (ROAS, CAC, LTV, and funnel performance).
• Maintain rigorous, proactive oversight of working capital and take charge of daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasting.
• Supervise and guarantee full compliance with all UK statutory obligations, including HMRC filings, VAT returns, and Companies House requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership to continuously enhance financial workflows by leveraging automation, systems (Xero, Asana, Slack), and AI tools.
• At least 5+ years of experience in a senior finance position (Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or Head of Finance).
• A proven history of managing and developing a team.
• You MUST possess demonstrated experience managing finance functions across multiple companies/divisions simultaneously, preferably within a business generating £10M+ in turnover.
• Fully qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent, with robust technical accounting expertise (accrual accounting, intercompany alignments, and group consolidations).
• A self-starter who provides solutions, challenges commercial assumptions, and consistently seeks ways to enhance profitability and cost efficiency.
• Highly skilled with contemporary accounting systems (Xero preferred), project management tools (Asana), and a genuine interest in implementing automation and AI to expedite reporting.
• Fluent and highly professional English communication skills to confidently partner with UK directors and stakeholders.
