This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of comprehensive field sales operations, which encompasses hiring, training, performance management, territory design, and managing partner relationships.
• Create and lead a high-performing field sales team across various retail locations, being directly accountable for application volume and partner satisfaction.
• Design and execute scalable field sales infrastructure, including territory planning, coverage models, visit cadence, performance dashboards, and coaching frameworks.
• Implement stringent performance management systems featuring clear metrics, scorecards, and data-driven feedback loops.
• Develop training programs that ensure field representatives maintain expertise in product knowledge, technical support, and customer service best practices.
• Cultivate strong relationships with partner leadership and store teams, serving as the main point of contact for field operations.
• Analyze unit economics and performance trends to pinpoint improvement opportunities and enhance team efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (general managers, finance, operations, tech) to address tooling deficiencies and operational requirements.
• Set and uphold a high-performance standard while fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• 8–12 years of leadership experience in field sales, retail operations, or territory management, with a proven history of building teams from the ground up.
• Proven success in designing and scaling field sales operations, encompassing territory planning, cadence design, coverage modeling, and performance infrastructure.
• Strong analytical abilities with experience in developing dashboards, scorecards, and performance reporting systems (tools agnostic).
• In-depth knowledge of field sales unit economics, performance metrics, and strategies to influence results through coaching and process enhancement.
• Outstanding communication skills, capable of customizing messages for executive stakeholders, partner leadership, and frontline team members.
• Builder mindset: comfortable navigating ambiguity, self-reliant, and adept at establishing structure in the absence of it.
• High ownership mentality: treat the function as if you own it, with personal accountability for outcomes.
• Experience managing teams that travel extensively and are distributed across multiple locations.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% of the time to support the team and maintain partner relationships.
