This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of ecommerce performance from start to finish.

• Develop the strategy and roadmap for both websites to optimize revenue, profitability, and customer lifetime value.

• Propel commercial key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Be responsible for CM2, average order value, conversion rates, and the mix of new versus returning customers—leveraging insights to prioritize activities that enhance profit per visit.

• Lead and advance the optimization function.

• Manage the CRO Manager: establish objectives, mentor on experimentation discipline, conversion copy, and UX enhancements, and evaluate test plans and outcomes.

• Coordinate technical and merchandising teams.

• Supervise a fractional technical lead and fractional merchandising resource to ensure platform reliability, swift feature delivery, catalog health, and effective site merchandising.

• Own the testing and personalization strategy.

• Initiate and oversee a data-driven experimentation program across both sites to boost conversion rates and average order value.

• Enhance the customer journey.

• Utilize customer insights, analytics, and user research to eliminate friction in the discovery, selection, and checkout processes for both new and returning customers.

• Engage in commercial planning and stakeholder management.

• Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to align promotions, stock availability, and media investments with site capabilities and margin objectives.

• Manage reporting and governance.

• Take charge of regular performance reporting for the senior leadership team, set OKRs for the ecommerce division, and ensure thorough post-campaign evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing ecommerce operations for multi-site DTC businesses or complex retail environments.

• Proven track record of enhancing CM2 (profit per visit) while balancing acquisition and retention strategies.

• Strong commercial mindset with clear experience utilizing data and testing to inform decision-making.

• Experience in line-managing senior digital specialists and collaborating with fractional or external technical and merchandising partners.

• Solid technical knowledge of ecommerce platforms, analytics, tagging, and CRO tools (e.g., Google Analytics/GA4, experimentation platforms).

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate insights into commercial strategies.

• Comfortable with hybrid working arrangements and occasional travel between offices or sites.
