Head of Digital Marketing, SEO & Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage comprehensive multi-channel digital marketing strategies that encompass search, paid advertising, local search visibility, and social media platforms.

• Review, modify, and authorize digital content, technical frameworks, and campaign setups prior to their public release.

• Perform thorough SEO audits and competitive assessments that include technical, on-page, off-page, local, and search-intent evaluations.

• Oversee the management of Google Business Profiles, Google Ads PPC campaigns, and Meta advertising platforms, focusing on performance and conversion tracking.

• Mentor, coach, and lead team members responsible for digital and social media execution.

• Facilitate client strategy, service, and reporting meetings where performance insights, search rankings, and conversion analytics are presented.

• Manage and optimize website frameworks, schema markup, and content development across WordPress, Duda, blogs, and social media platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive senior-level experience in end-to-end digital marketing operations, search strategy, and paid media management.

• Practical experience in executing technical, on-page, local, and off-page SEO strategies.

• Proven ability to audit, oversee, and direct digital and social media execution teams.

• Demonstrated experience in managing Google Business Profiles, Google Ads PPC campaigns, and Meta advertising platforms.

• Experience in client-facing strategy and service meetings.

• Proficiency in managing multiple project accounts.

• Background in search-intent analysis, content development, analytics reporting, and conversion tracking.

• Previous agency experience in managing client portfolios and organic growth engines (preferred).

• Required software competencies: WordPress, Duda, schema markup implementation tools, Google Business Profile, Google Ads, and Meta Advertising platform.
