• Develop and implement the security engineering strategy and long-term roadmap that aligns with business objectives and risk appetite.
• Collaborate with technology teams across various business units, as well as the Cloud and Infrastructure teams, to support new projects and releases.
• Take ownership of ongoing projects and roadmaps, emphasizing the delivery of industry best practices within the field.
• Lead a global team of Security Engineers to accomplish the defined goals.
• Partner with industry specialists to provide AI-driven security detections and enhance operational workflows within the SOC.
• Manage a set of key executive metrics to ensure that operations teams are effectively equipped to identify and tackle complex contemporary threats.
• Work alongside industry frontrunners in detection engineering to continuously enhance our capabilities and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
• Over 10 years of experience in security engineering and/or security tools management.
• More than 5 years of experience in team leadership, including hiring, performance management, and organizational design.
• Proven track record in environments with hybrid-cloud infrastructures.
• Experience with leading SIEM, SOAR, and Threat Intelligence products across the industry.
• Proficient knowledge of major SIEM and SOAR platforms such as Splunk, SecOps, Xsoar, Sentinel, and D3.
• Strong expertise in application security and modern SDLC/CI/CD processes.
• Demonstrated capability to execute large, cross-functional security initiatives and achieve results at scale.
• Exceptional communication skills: able to influence engineering leaders and articulate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders.
