Head of Cybersecurity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Define and take ownership of the comprehensive cybersecurity strategy and roadmap for the organization.

• Foster a security-first mindset throughout both engineering and business teams.

• Serve as the main security authority and advisor to senior leadership.

• Manage and uphold the ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance programs.

• Supervise cloud security across AWS and Azure environments.

• Represent beqom in security matters during customer and prospect engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive, senior-level experience in Information Security.

• Proven experience in the design, implementation, and management of a modern Information Security Management System (ISMS).

• In-depth practical knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, or comparable frameworks.

• Strong grasp of cloud security principles and best practices, ideally across AWS and Azure platforms.

• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CISA.

• Awareness of GDPR and its operational requirements.
