Head of Corporate Marketing, Branding Communications

📋 Description

• Define and enhance the company's narrative, messaging, brand voice, and visual identity, ensuring consistency across go-to-market efforts, external communications, and internal channels.

• Advocate for and facilitate the organization-wide adoption of brand and messaging standards, collaborating with various teams to guarantee consistent execution.

• Lead and implement Blackpoint Cyber’s global communications strategy encompassing media relations, social media, executive communications, and corporate storytelling.

• Simplify complex cybersecurity concepts, including managed detection and response, threat intelligence, AI, and security operations, into clear and engaging narratives. Develop and promote our AI story, highlighting our unique value propositions and the outcomes we achieve.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key cybersecurity media, analysts, and industry influencers to enhance Blackpoint Cyber’s visibility and credibility.

• Collaborate with various teams to refine company messaging related to product launches, corporate milestones, partnerships, funding announcements, and industry advancements.

• Enhance executive thought leadership by facilitating speaking engagements, media opportunities, and participation in industry events.

• Provide guidance on crisis and incident communications strategies as necessary, ensuring prompt and transparent messaging.

• Establish metrics and reporting frameworks to evaluate media impact, brand awareness, and share of voice.

• Lead a high-performing team focused on brand, content, and communications, including brand design and content/social media functions, as the company continues to expand.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 12 years of experience in corporate marketing, branding, or communications leadership roles within cybersecurity firms.

• Proven history of not only developing brand and messaging strategies but also driving their implementation and adoption across teams to significantly enhance brand visibility and market leadership.

• Ability to translate intricate cybersecurity concepts (managed detection and response, threat intelligence, AI, and security operations) into clear and engaging narratives.

• Experience in building and promoting the organization's AI narrative by highlighting differentiation and the results delivered to clients.

• Outstanding storytelling and messaging abilities, with a knack for simplifying complex technical concepts into accessible narratives.

• Strong background in media relations with established connections across technology, channel, and cybersecurity press.

• Experience in managing and evolving a visual brand with the judgment to identify gaps and drive enhancements through internal resources or agency partnerships.

• Experience collaborating closely with executive leadership on communications strategy and executive visibility.

• Experience and comfort in experimenting with and implementing AI and automation across functions, from content creation and creative processes to analytics, for increased efficiency and scalability.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing multiple priorities.
