• Lead strategic business development and institutional partnerships by originating, developing, and advancing intricate commercial opportunities across NGOs, INGOs, faith-based organizations, international organizations, governmental bodies, donor-funded programs, and institutional procurement entities.
• Cultivate and enhance strategic relationships with senior stakeholders in procurement, supply chain, program, and funding functions across NGOs, INGOs, faith-based organizations, and institutional health systems.
• Navigate complex procurement environments characterized by multiple stakeholders, prolonged sales cycles, and intricate decision-making processes.
• Collaborate closely with the CCO and Business Development Directors to bolster outbound commercial engagement and institutional market penetration.
• Assist in structuring long-term partnership opportunities, procurement engagements, and participation models in the marketplace.
• Represent Axmed with credibility in discussions related to pharmaceutical procurement, donor funding frameworks, tendering processes, and institutional purchasing dynamics.
• Utilize commercial intelligence and market insights to identify high-value growth opportunities in priority markets.
• Develop consistent methods for detecting institutional demand signals, procurement cycles, funding windows, and strategic purchasing behaviors.
• Convert quantitative and qualitative insights into actionable commercial strategies and prioritized growth initiatives.
• Create frameworks for opportunity qualification, account prioritization, and the development of a strategic pipeline.
• Monitor market trends, procurement developments, competitor activities, and funding movements to guide commercial strategy.
• Support revenue growth strategies through insight-driven market prioritization and institutional opportunity mapping.
• Identify trends in customer behavior, procurement activities, and marketplace adoption to shape growth hypotheses.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and data teams to unlock commercially viable opportunities.
• Contribute to strategic planning regarding market entry, institutional engagement models, pricing considerations, and growth execution.
• Formulate clear strategic account growth plans within the first 60–90 days for key institutional relationships.
• Employ a technology and business intelligence mindset to leverage data, technology, and AI-enabled tools that enhance commercial workflows, insight generation, and opportunity qualification.
• Exhibit strong commercial curiosity and an evidence-based approach to decision-making, utilizing data and operational insights to drive improved commercial outcomes.
• Significant experience in commercial roles with NGOs, INGOs, faith-based organizations, international organizations, government entities, donor funders, or institutional healthcare procurement environments.
• Proven ability to own and advance intricate commercial opportunities within multi-stakeholder institutional settings, including lengthy procurement and partnership cycles.
• Comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical procurement, pharmaceutical supply chains, institutional healthcare purchasing, donor funding mechanisms, and tendering environments.
• Demonstrated capability to translate market intelligence, commercial insights, and data into actionable growth strategies and commercial prioritization.
• Strong commercial judgment, strategic thinking skills, and the ability to forge relationships with senior external stakeholders across institutional ecosystems.
• A successful track record of directly contributing to commercial growth, strategic partnerships, pipeline development, or revenue expansion in high-growth or scaling environments.
• High level of ownership, execution capability, and comfort in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in using technology, AI tools, and business intelligence methodologies to assist in commercial execution and decision-making.
• Experience with technology-enabled solutions, marketplaces, or SaaS-like environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
