Head of AI Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage a highly technical AI Solutions team.

• Recruit, mentor, and guide AI solutions engineers, data engineers, and AI product professionals.

• Oversee the intake and prioritization of internal AI initiatives.

• Assess business value, feasibility, risks, and reuse potential.

• Organize the project portfolio and communicate prioritization outcomes.

• Lead exploratory discussions with both business and technical teams.

• Define solution architecture, project scope, success metrics, dependencies, and effort estimations.

• Distribute engineering, data, and product resources across multiple concurrent projects.

• Secure collaboration from functional teams, including IT, AI Platform, Architecture, Privacy, and Security.

• Eliminate obstacles to delivery.

• Review critical architecture designs, implementation strategies, evaluations, and readiness for production.

• Ensure solutions comply with standards for security, privacy, reliability, observability, cost-effectiveness, and human oversight.

• Deliver solutions within the agreed scope and ensure seamless handoffs.

• Assess value post-launch.

• Transform recurring needs into reusable solution patterns, evaluation tools, and delivery playbooks.

• Provide feedback on platform gaps to AI Platform and Architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in designing, building, or deploying production systems.

• More than 3 years of experience in leading technical teams.

• Proven experience in guiding LLM-based or autonomous solutions from inception to production.

• Direct participation in architecture, integration, deployment, evaluation, and operational readiness processes.

• Experience leading a solutions architecture, applied AI, engineering, platform, or shared-services team that serves multiple business units.

• Accountability for prioritization and resource allocation.

• Strong skills in technical scoping and estimation.

• Familiarity with agent and tool orchestration, prompt and context design, guardrails, evaluation, data modeling, APIs, identity, and cloud or hybrid deployment.

• Experience in hiring and nurturing senior AI, engineering, data, and product professionals.

• Background in building or leading an internal FDE, solutions architecture, applied AI, or enterprise AI delivery organization.

• Experience in creating validated designs or reference architectures that encompass AI models, data, infrastructure, security, and enterprise systems.

• Proven record of delivering agentic AI for cybersecurity or other high-stakes operational contexts.

• Experience in deploying AI solutions across cloud, data center, and hybrid environments.
