Head Of Accounting – GYM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Supervise the accounting operations of the company and ensure precise financial reporting across various entities.

• Create, oversee, and evaluate annual budgets and financial forecasts.

• Compile and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the management team.

• Assess financial performance and offer insights to facilitate business decisions.

• Guarantee adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and organizational policies.

• Assist in strategic planning through detailed financial analysis and reporting.

• Review and authorize journal entries, reconciliations, and financial documentation.

• Develop and uphold efficient accounting processes and procedures.

• Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures.

• Engage professionally with clients, vendors, banks, auditors, and external stakeholders regarding financial issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.

• CPA designation is preferred or an equivalent professional accounting certification.

• At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including managerial roles.

• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and financial reporting systems.

• Significant experience in budgeting, financial analysis, reconciliations, and accounts payable.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial compliance.

• Outstanding analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
