This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska.
• Execute and oversee industrial housekeeping services.
• Deliver cleaning projects and services to uphold cleanliness, efficiency, and livability of commercial and industrial facilities.
• Manage and direct operations within a commissary facility.
• Fulfill all responsibilities associated with a housekeeper or designated employee.
• Assist in supervising and guiding housekeeping and janitorial personnel.
• Aid in training new staff and provide continuous training opportunities.
• Carry out, replace, and distribute assigned inventories.
• Perform inspections to ensure service quality is maintained.
• Coordinate the care and maintenance of equipment.
• Help facilitate safety meetings and guarantee that daily operations adhere to company and client safety standards.
• Ensure that staff comply with quality standards and work procedures.
• Address minor maintenance issues or client emergencies, or implement solutions for permanent resolution.
• Support employees facing work-related challenges.
• Identify, resolve, or report site safety hazards appropriately.
• Inform the supervisor when safety and sanitation standards are not adhered to.
• Perform additional duties that contribute to the success of the department or unit.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience demonstrating knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment and industrial cleaning processes.
• At least one (1) year of experience in commercial housekeeping.
• A minimum of one (1) year of verifiable supervisory experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or hospitality fields.
• Basic proficiency in operating Microsoft Office applications.
• Must pass pre-employment criteria, which may include a drug test, physical and fit-for-duty assessment, and hearing test.
• Must collaborate and work effectively as part of a team with employees, customers, and clients.
• Must be able to make decisions independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to stand for 12 hours per shift within the scheduled rotation.
• Must be capable of residing in dormitory-style accommodations and meeting cleanliness standards in remote camp settings.
• Must be proficient in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing in English.
• Must adhere to all company and client safety protocols and regulations.
• Must be able to travel by plane and/or bus to remote camps.
• Must meet designated physical and fit-for-duty testing criteria.
• A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for the past three years is preferred.
• Company-covered flights to remote locations for scheduled trips.
