This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Direct SGA's FinOps practice by establishing, executing, and continuously refining internal processes, policies, and procedures to ensure scalability and alignment with industry best practices.

• Product and Go-to-Market Development: Create and package innovative FinOps-centric products, services, and consulting offerings for SGA's portfolio.

• Cost Management and Governance: Oversee, analyze, and report on cloud consumption and expenses, identifying opportunities for savings and preventing waste.

• Cost Anomaly Analysis: Examine cost irregularities and modify thresholds as needed.

• Use of Artificial Intelligence: Implement and enhance AI-driven routines to automate billing anomaly detection and generate strategic insights.

• Strategic Partnership (Cross-Team): Collaborate closely with TAMs and engineering teams to ensure that technical architecture is in line with financial best practices.

• FinOps Culture: Foster a culture of cloud financial accountability across technical teams and clients, promoting transparency and continuous training.

• Reports and Dashboards: Create and deliver executive ROI and TCO reports to C-level stakeholders, translating complex IT metrics into impactful business outcomes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Leadership and FinOps Experience: Established history in cloud cost management and preferably previous experience leading teams, squads, or significant FinOps initiatives.

• Business and Product Mindset: Proven ability to transform technical expertise into value-added offerings and products for clients.

• Multi-Cloud Expertise: Extensive knowledge of billing models, pricing calculators, and native cost tools for Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Proficiency in Artificial Intelligence: Practical experience using AI to improve data analysis, cross-reference billing information, and automate operational processes.

• Analytical and Data Skills: Strong proficiency in data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Power BI) for developing executive financial dashboards.

• Leadership Soft Skills: Charismatic profile with outstanding executive communication, negotiation abilities, and resilience to manage expectations from both clients and internal teams.
