HB / PB Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, analyze, test, install, and support solutions related to Epic information systems.

• Collaborate with enterprise departments on application system issues and act as a technical liaison with external vendors.

• Complete Epic certifications, training, projects, and testing tasks.

• Offer technical expertise and business process insights to project teams.

• Identify requirements for new systems and assist in project planning.

• Engage in vendor selection processes, conduct demonstrations, perform functional comparisons, and aid in the development of contracts/statements of work.

• Create process diagrams, screen layouts, design specifications, system builds, and unit tests.

• Take part in business process testing, development of training materials, end-user training, and go-live support.

• Deliver technical assistance and ensure timely resolution of incident tickets for system end users.

• Maintain supported software, communicate updates and enhancements, and manage detailed system documentation.

• Lead activities related to current-state analysis, alternative solution development, system design, testing, and implementation.

• Develop project plans and detailed test plans for implementations and upgrades.

• Coordinate cross-functional integrated testing, go-live resources, change management, optimization, and issue resolution.

• Advise the supervisor on project status and critical issues.

• Execute other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Two to three years of experience in information technology application development, training, and implementation within a healthcare environment.

• A minimum of five years of experience with Epic systems.

• At least two Epic certifications are required.

• Proficiency in the assigned Epic module is essential.

• Epic certifications are mandatory.

• Hospital Billing certification in Resolute Hospital Billing, Claims, Electronic Remittance, Contracts, and Hospice Claims, where applicable.

• Professional Billing certification in Resolute Professional Billing and Charge Router, where applicable.

• Previous experience in hospital billing revenue cycle workflow, understanding of revenue cycle management, and/or billing operations experience is advantageous.

• Prior experience in ambulatory revenue cycle workflow, understanding of revenue cycle management, and/or billing operations experience is beneficial.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong communication skills at all organizational levels are necessary.
