This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Configure, maintain, and enhance all components of ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM), including hardware models, entitlements, and discovery mappings.

• Offer support for hardware reconciliation, address potential compliance issues, and manage optimization requests.

• Oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of hardware assets within the HAM module, from procurement and deployment to retirement and disposal.

• Diagnose and refine HAM-related dashboards, reports, and metrics to deliver actionable insights on compliance, spending, and opportunities for optimization.

• Assist with hardware management, service catalog, procurement, and other related processes within ServiceNow, ensuring connections between contracts, entitlements, and assets.

• Provide support and troubleshoot integrations (e.g., import sets, transform maps, APIs, integrations with discovery tools).

• Identify and implement improvements to data quality processes, including validation, cleansing, and normalization.

• Resolve data discrepancies and integration challenges affecting HAM functionality.

• Execute routine administration tasks on the ServiceNow platform, including user/group management, ACLs, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and workflow/Flow Designer configurations.

• Manage and address incidents and service requests linked to HAM functionality and data integrations.

• Contribute to ServiceNow platform testing to ensure the preservation and enhancement of HAM functionality.

• Create and update technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides for HAM processes and configurations.

• Follow ServiceNow best practices and adhere to ITIL framework principles.

• Collaborate efficiently with IT Asset Management, Procurement, Finance, Application Owners, and other IT teams to promote effective Hardware asset management.

• Provide expertise and guidance on HAM best practices and the functionalities of ServiceNow.

• Engage in requirements gathering, solution design, and testing phases for new HAM initiatives and platform enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

• Over 10 years of relevant experience (A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field may substitute for 5 years of experience).

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Administrator.

• Minimum of 2 years of specialized experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management, focusing on configuration, reconciliation, and optimization.

• Demonstrated experience with data integration within ServiceNow (e.g., import sets, transform maps, scripting) and integrating with various discovery sources.

• Strong knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes and the lifecycle of hardware assets.

• Proficient in ServiceNow platform administration and development across various ServiceNow versions.

• In-depth understanding of the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and its crucial connection to HAM.

• Capability to troubleshoot complex technical issues within ServiceNow and its integrations.

• Experience in scripting within ServiceNow for custom solutions and data manipulation.

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations.

• Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) (Preferred).

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Hardware Asset Management (Preferred).
