Guidewire PC Config-Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Serve as a Manager within the Technology Consulting team, overseeing various Guidewire implementation and prototype development projects for clients worldwide.

• Act in the capacity of a Manager (Technical Leader) to provide contributions across different aspects of Guidewire implementation projects.

• Interface, collaborate, and communicate effectively with onsite coordinators.

• Plan and monitor project deliverables produced by the team.

• Mentor the project team in executing the designated projects.

• Provide regular status updates to Program Managers and onsite coordinators.

• Engage with customer representatives as necessary.

• Cultivate a quality-focused culture within the team.

• Manage performance evaluations for direct reports in alignment with organizational policies.

• Encourage teamwork and exemplify leadership qualities.

• Conduct training and mentorship for project resources.

• Participate in organization-wide initiatives related to personnel development.

⛳️ Requirements

• BE/BTech/MCA & MBA with substantial industry experience ranging from 8 to 14 years.

• Highly skilled and experienced in Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter Configuration, Guidewire Integration, and/or Guidewire Digital.

• Proven knowledge and experience in either Personal Lines products such as Personal Auto, Property, Homeowners, Personal Umbrella, etc., or Commercial Lines products like Commercial Auto, Commercial Property, Workers Compensation, Farm, Commercial Umbrella, Farm Umbrella, Business Owners, etc.

• Proficient in Java 8+, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, and ANT.

• Strong expertise in Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, and any Enterprise Messaging System.

• In-depth knowledge and experience with Tomcat and/or Websphere/Weblogic.

• Real-time experience with enterprise system integration, specifically within insurance applications.

• Familiarity with software development best practices.

• Exceptional business communication skills.

• Excellent client-facing skills.

• Proficient project management skills.

• Experience with Guidewire implementations and upgrades.

• Background in the insurance domain, particularly in Property & Casualty.
